Julie Ray Creative (JRC) was founded in Tucson in 2008 with the vision of bringing together social justice and design. Our values of community impact, collaboration & inclusion, creativity, and connection are the foundation for our process and practice.
Julie started her career working with non-profit organizations in program management, fundraising and communications. While serving as the Development and Communications Director for artworxla, a Los Angeles arts education organization, she worked closely with graphic designers who developed eye-catching materials for the organization. Her interest piqued, she took courses in L.A. and Tucson, where she moved in 2004, and launched her freelance practice. (Want to know even more? Click here.)
